How the data is produced

Spribe does not publish a public feed of Plinko rounds. Every page is driven by a deterministic model of the game's published RTP, so anyone can reproduce every number.

The model

Plinko has no cash-out and no curve: a ball falls through 12, 14 or 16 rows of pins and lands in one box with a fixed multiplier. The model drops balls on a fixed mix of row and colour settings (listed below); the box is drawn from the binomial distribution of the ball's left and right bounces, so the centre is common and the edges are rare. The top box pays 555.00x. With RTP 97%, 8.7% of modelled drops pay 2x or more and 0.3% pay 10x or more.

Seeding and timing

Each UTC day of each game is seeded from the game id and the date, so the browser and the build step generate identical results. One result is produced every 20 seconds, giving 4,319 rounds per day; that timing is a convention of the model, not a property of the game.

What the model cannot tell you

It cannot tell you what any casino table did, when a big multiplier will come, or whether a strategy works. The 10x+ rate converges to the theoretical 0.3% and the longest gaps are what independent rounds produce by chance. Treat every table on this site as an illustration of variance, not as evidence.
